The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Segmon IF's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Jajko in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Korneliusz Brzakala made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Ravelli. Segmon IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 6th minute, Charlie Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Ove Axelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Charlie Lind struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Waldemar Klawke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Segmon IF. If Charlie Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ove Axelsson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Mikolaj Hoffman hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, KS Zryw Rybitwy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Kempski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Lind in the 25th minute of play forced KS Zryw Rybitwy's goalkeeper Waldemar Klawke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, KS Zryw Rybitwy's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Åberg came free, but Waldemar Klawke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Jens-Ove Axelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldemar Klawke was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maksymilian Fedosz in the 33rd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Ignacy Kochanowski put in a rough tackle. The supporters of KS Zryw Rybitwy booed when Segmon IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, KS Zryw Rybitwy's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Lind came free, but Waldemar Klawke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 46 in the game by Korneliusz Brzakala from a close distance when the talented Thomas Ravelli managed to make a qualified save. Segmon IF's players were relieved. If Charlie Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charlie Lind stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Charlie Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Klawke having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Jens-Ove Axelsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Waldemar Klawke to make any attempt to save it. Wieslaw Kempski hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, KS Zryw Rybitwy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Soliwoda to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Brzakala, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Brzakala came free, but Thomas Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafal Paprotny hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Kaj Åberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Waldemar Klawke however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Korneliusz Brzakala in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Ravelli saved Segmon IF from getting behind. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Brzakala in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Brzakala in the 94th minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Klawke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Segmon IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
