Saint Glenn Gothenburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kickers United the free kick. Edgard Raymaekers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wictor Säf. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Kickers United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Conny Söderquist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wictor Säf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanny Helssens, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. André Vinström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saint Glenn Gothenburg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Harry Enegren kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Saint Glenn Gothenburg getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Henning Åberg hit a great ball. A hard shot by Stanny Helssens from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Wictor Säf's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Tobias Säv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 60 minutes, Harry Enegren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Glenn Gothenburg and the Kickers United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stanny Helssens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wictor Säf came out and tried to block the shot, but Stanny Helssens slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 87th minute. Wictor Säf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanny Helssens, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Viggo Bergvall kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Kickers United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kickers United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
