In the 8th minute Alfred Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Ceilândia Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Ceilândia Futebol Clube defense, Harry Enegren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Garcia. The Ceilândia Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Garcia should have stopped the shot. Wictor Säf was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alan Romero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Claudinho Falcão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wictor Säf. That made the score 2-1 after 22 minutes of play. Wictor Säf made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Gustavo Alves sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Dracena in the 27th minute of play forced Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Wictor Säf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ceilândia Futebol Clube booed when Saint Glenn Gothenburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Alan Romero notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Wictor Säf. Wictor Säf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alfred Samuelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Claudinho Falcão came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ceilândia Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Falcão couldn't finish the play. Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Samuel Donatello was substituted for Alan Romero. 61 minutes into the match, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Samuelsson came free, but Danilo Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Danilo Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Samuelsson in the 64th minute of play. Valter Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Danilo Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Säf having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Claudinho Falcão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wictor Säf was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After 78 played minutes Ceilândia Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Falcão. After 79 played minutes, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Adam Palmkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danilo Garcia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saint Glenn Gothenburg reached it. After recieving a nice pass, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's André Vinström tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Alfred Samuelsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. 93 minutes into the game, Alfred Samuelsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Danilo Garcia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
