Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stanny Helssens made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Kickers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanny Helssens to maneuver through the defense. Yanne Neels kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanny Helssens in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raoul Leseur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yanne Neels hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goalkeeper Emmanuel Meersman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrice Deltour. In the 21st match minute, Kickers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregory Verhelst to maneuver through the defense. Emmanuel Meersman came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fierce's Patrice Deltour. But to his dismay, Patrice Deltour quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 31st minute, Stanny Helssens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kickers United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Emmanuel Meersman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ewan Busin in the 34th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Edgard Raymaekers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrice Deltour made a kick off. Wayne De Mey was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. The supporters of Fierce booed when Kickers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayne De Mey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bérenger Laure struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Emmanuel Meersman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fierce. Emmanuel Meersman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrice Deltour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68thth minute of the game Patrice Deltour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kickers United's Emmanuel Meersman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Stanny Helssens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodolphe Goyard charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolphe Goyard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fierce getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rodolphe Goyard hit a great ball. In the 80th match minute, Fierce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Chamoux to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Patrice Deltour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Meersman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Meersman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolphe Goyard in the 88th minute of play. Emmanuel Meersman came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Fierce's Patrice Deltour. But to his dismay, Patrice Deltour quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fierce had played much better football throughout.
