Vagnhärad IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxime Uytterhaegen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 19th minute, Urban Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Simon Cheepers. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Stanny Helssens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kickers United's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanny Helssens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Anselius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emmanuel Meersman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvain De Raeijmaeker took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Anselius. Daniel Anselius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 31 minutes of play, Kickers United's Silvain De Raeijmaeker made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vagnhärad IK's Daniel Anselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannic Van Cruchten in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kickers United's Jannic Van Cruchten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Anselius. That made the score 5-0 after 37 minutes of play. Stanny Helssens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Anselius came out and tried to block the shot, but Stanny Helssens slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute, Bertil Sjögren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emmanuel Meersman was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Simon Cheepers put in a rough tackle. The audience held their breath when Kaj Wahlström in the 57th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Emmanuel Meersman's left hand side. In the 62nd match minute, Vagnhärad IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Wahlström to maneuver through the defense. Maxime Uytterhaegen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Daniel Anselius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanny Helssens in the 68th minute of play forced Vagnhärad IK's goalkeeper Daniel Anselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
