With a little luck, Los Colegas del Barrio's Quinton Pujol got control of the ball when Emiliano Di Filippo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emiliano Di Filippo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Quinton Pujol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Devil Napoli. Los Colegas del Barrio's Quinton Pujol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Los Colegas del Barrio from getting a goal against them. Ermanno Natalucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Los Colegas del Barrio's zone, Emiliano Di Filippo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quinton Pujol came out of the goal and Emiliano Di Filippo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Emiliano Di Filippo got free in front of the goal in the 31st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Quinton Pujol was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Emiliano Di Filippo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Quinton Pujol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 34 minutes in the game, Emiliano Di Filippo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Quinton Pujol having to interfere. Amuruza Echavarri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Fallito. Black Devil Napoli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Black Devil Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Arbas Sacristán came free, but Flavio Fallito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Di Filippo to strike the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Di Filippo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quinton Pujol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Di Filippo in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arbas Sacristán in the 61st minute of play forced Black Devil Napoli's goalkeeper Flavio Fallito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Di Filippo scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quinton Pujol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th match minute, Black Devil Napoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Natalucci to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Arbas Sacristán's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Fallito was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Emiliano Di Filippo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes Black Devil Napoli got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Micarelli. Quinton Pujol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Di Filippo's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. If Emiliano Di Filippo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arbas Sacristán in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Fallito saved Black Devil Napoli from getting behind. When Fabiano Marcucci fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Devil Napoli's protests and gave Fabiano Marcucci a yellow card for diving instead. Fabiano Marcucci kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Emiliano Di Filippo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Quinton Pujol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Di Filippo in the 93rd minute of play forced Los Colegas del Barrio's goalkeeper Quinton Pujol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Colegas del Barrio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
