Spectators: 7448 (Terracing: 5587, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jörn Rosén kicked off to start the match. Matthijs Heinen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefan Boklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Jörn Rosén charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörn Rosén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute Pim van Gaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Boklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's goalkeeper Teun Gierman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sonny Friberger. Nils-Erik Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teun Gierman having to interfere. Jörn Rosén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teun Gierman having to interfere. Jörn Rosén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Teun Gierman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bart Koekkoek struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Stefan Boklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nadzieja Speed Elblag. If Jörn Rosén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Arnout Piening was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nadzieja Speed Elblag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buksvinens IF the free kick. Arnout Piening hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jörn Rosén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pim van Gaal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Stefan Boklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Teun Gierman got control of the ball when Jörn Rosén tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Nadzieja Speed Elblag were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pim van Gaal made a kick off. Pim van Gaal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Nadzieja Speed Elblag defense, Edward Gummeson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teun Gierman. The Nadzieja Speed Elblag fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teun Gierman should have stopped the shot. If Edward Gummeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Nils-Erik Lund came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Buksvinens IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Erik Lund couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nadzieja Speed Elblag's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bengt-Arne Fransson was slow to take the kick. During this time Buksvinens IF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bengt-Arne Fransson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teun Gierman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Jörn Rosén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Erik Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
