The referee ignored Powiśle Warszawa's protests and gave Radomil Haszczak a yellow card for diving instead. Radomil Haszczak kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute Santos Rocio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Zatorski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, Powiśle Warszawa's Ignacy Kieca made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guido Orlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Zatorski having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Isaac Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Zatorski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Powiśle Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Posadzki to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the game, Isaac Perrando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bogdan Zatorski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Witold Fiszer made the kick off in the second half.
