With an all-out effort, Zandarin FC's Teun Gierman threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elano Marques, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Raphael de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nadzieja Speed Elblag.
