Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal and Richy Van Mellaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute Alberto Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Huijbreghts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Esquirla FC's Basiel Van de Weijer got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Esquirla FC's Vic de Reyck got a free kick in the 24th minute. Simon Wery hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Cleiton Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Esquirla FC's Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Esquirla FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Simon Wery hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedrinho Fontes during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedrinho Fontes hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Dimitri Huijbreghts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neil Mar, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Marzagão made a substitution. Remo Borges replaced Leonardo Vides. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Luís Fernandez could save by the left post. A collision led to Esquirla FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Wes Goons hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Esquirla FC's zone, Neil Mar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitri Huijbreghts came out of the goal and Neil Mar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Richy Van Mellaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquirla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richy Van Mellaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richy Van Mellaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luís Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basiel Van de Weijer in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the game, Vic de Reyck landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 77 minutes into the game, Remo Borges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marzagão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esquirla FC the free kick. Remo Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Fabiano de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dimitri Huijbreghts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marzagão. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Richy Van Mellaert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquirla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richy Van Mellaert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luís Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute Remo Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Huijbreghts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richy Van Mellaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitri Huijbreghts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Fabiano de Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitri Huijbreghts was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Marzagão succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Esquirla FC had controlled the match.
