Dimitri Huijbreghts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pim van Gaal in the 5th minute of the match. After 6 minutes of play, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Pim van Gaal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitri Huijbreghts was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Teun Gierman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Teun Gierman came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Esquirla FC's Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas. But to his dismay, Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Teun Gierman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Stef Graaff got a free kick in the 18th minute. Stef Graaff's late challenge caught a Esquirla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stef Graaff helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 minutes of play, Esquirla FC's Richy Van Mellaert made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teun Gierman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teun Gierman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arnout Piening kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Stef Graaff was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 32nd minute, Stef Graaff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teun Gierman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Basiel Van de Weijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esquirla FC's Basiel Van de Weijer got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Nadzieja Speed Elblag got a freekick which was hit by Nick van der Aa. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Teun Gierman. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pim van Gaal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Esquirla FC's Richy Van Mellaert made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teun Gierman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 61 minutes, Richy Van Mellaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquirla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richy Van Mellaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basiel Van de Weijer struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Teun Gierman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquirla FC. 78 minutes into the game, Bart Koekkoek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nadzieja Speed Elblag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esquirla FC the free kick. Bart Koekkoek kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teun Gierman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 86th minute of the match Arnout Piening completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arnout Piening a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Teun Gierman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. A collision led to Esquirla FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Simon Wery hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Esquirla FC were the better team. Esquirla FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
