Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Buksvinens IF's Lars Nilsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Rune Möllgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buksvinens IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martin Palermo F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Buksvinens IF's Rune Möllgren got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Isaac Perrando came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Martin Palermo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Perrando couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Perrando in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Boklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 minutes, Isaac Perrando made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Buksvinens IF's Stefan Boklund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bengt-Arne Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Gilbert Westerstrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Guido Orlo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Buksvinens IF's Stefan Boklund didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Friberger in the 18th minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodoro Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Perrando might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Boklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Perrando ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the game, Isaac Perrando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Stefan Boklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rune Möllgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Teodoro Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Indar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stefan Boklund. Buksvinens IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 33 played minutes, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Natalio Indar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefan Boklund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Martin Palermo F.C. reached it. Teodoro Eladio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lars Nilsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 40 minute of play. Stefan Boklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Orlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Teodoro Eladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Friberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 minutes, Anselmo Botello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Martin Palermo F.C. and the Buksvinens IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Martin Palermo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Botello to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Boklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Perrando in the 58th minute of play. Santos Rocio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Stefan Boklund made a huge save. Rune Möllgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Eladio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Rune Möllgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buksvinens IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Guido Orlo scored to the left of an out of position Stefan Boklund, making the score, 2-4. A collision led to Buksvinens IF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gilbert Westerstrand hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Isaac Perrando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martin Palermo F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Perrando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Boklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guido Orlo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 84th minute, Isaac Perrando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernst Söderberg during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot by Celso Frutos from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Stefan Boklund's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
