In the 21st match minute, Zebolla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulin Moron to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luís Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Savier Orue's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Zebolla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marzagão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Savier Orue was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 47th minute of the match Zacarias Barriobero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Fernandez skillfully saved the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano de Queiroz to make the kick off. Zacarias Cotes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano de Queiroz in the 57th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Viviano Presilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. Ordono Siles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Remo Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marzagão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remo Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zebolla FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marzagão.
