In the 16th minute, Neil Mar made a precise shot to the right of Teodoro Eladio. Martin Palermo F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's César Rosa got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Isaac Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Teodoro Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Perrando who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Luís Fernandez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfonso Rojelio struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martin Palermo F.C.. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Válbson Fernandes hit a great ball.

Marzagão made a substitution. Remo Borges replaced Leonardo Vides. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabiano de Queiroz was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodoro Eladio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano de Queiroz. Teodoro Eladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Cleiton Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although Martin Palermo F.C. had been in control for most of the match, Marzagão still came away with the win.
