Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabiano de Queiroz started the match with the kick off. Luiz Fernando Peixoto hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luís Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elano Marques's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute, Cleiton Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Ramos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zé Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute of the match Cleiton Paulista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raphael de Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Zézinho Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano de Queiroz in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cleiton Paulista hit a great ball. Raphael de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Marzagão's Leonardo Vides. But to his dismay, Leonardo Vides quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 42nd minute Fabiano de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fernando Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Cleiton Paulista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raphael de Queiroz skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marzagão's zone, Ernani Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal and Ernani Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elano Marques to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Alberto Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Zandarin FC booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Geovani Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Prado in the 64th minute of play forced Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Raphael de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Alberto Prado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raphael de Queiroz, 0-2. In the 69th minute of the match, Fabiano de Queiroz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raphael de Queiroz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 70th match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Brito to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Raphael de Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Prado. 75 minutes into the game, Remo Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Raphael de Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Zandarin FC booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Neil Mar scored 0-4 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raphael de Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano de Queiroz. Elano Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute of the game Alfredinho Quintal made a throw-in which Remo Borges played forward. After 97 minutes, Neil Mar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marzagão and the Zandarin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neil Mar to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Marzagão could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zandarin FC throughout the match.
