An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Majewski in the 4th minute of play forced Nadzieja Speed Elblag's goalkeeper Emil Roelofs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Roelofs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacy Kieca in the 9th minute of play. Ignacy Kieca scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Roelofs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the game, Powiśle Warszawa's Maciej Majewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Roelofs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Powiśle Warszawa's Karol Czajkowski got a free kick in the 28th minute. Maciej Majewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Roelofs having to interfere. If Maciej Majewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Powiśle Warszawa booed when Nadzieja Speed Elblag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick van der Aa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pim van Gaal made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's goalkeeper Emil Roelofs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacy Kieca. In the 62nd match minute, Nadzieja Speed Elblag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnout Piening to maneuver through the defense. Emil Roelofs made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ignacy Kieca sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ignacy Kieca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Emil Roelofs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maciej Majewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Maciej Majewski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Posadzki in the 91st minute of play forced Nadzieja Speed Elblag's goalkeeper Emil Roelofs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
