FK LIQENORET were furious when Ledi Selmani was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 47th minute, one of FK LIQENORET:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK LIQENORET. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iljaz Allamani to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iljaz Allamani in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Roelofs saved Nadzieja Speed Elblag from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Nadzieja Speed Elblag's zone, Fatos Myftiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Roelofs came out of the goal and Fatos Myftiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emil Roelofs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erigerti Divjaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Roelofs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erigerti Divjaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute, FK LIQENORET's Erigerti Divjaka ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Roelofs. Emil Roelofs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Pim van Gaal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niki Qeraxhiu having to interfere. Iljaz Allamani scored 1-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Roelofs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fatos Myftiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Roelofs having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iljaz Allamani in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Roelofs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iljaz Allamani struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Emil Roelofs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK LIQENORET. In the 90th minute, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iljaz Allamani fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fatos Myftiu charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fatos Myftiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FK LIQENORET's Fatos Myftiu got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Matthijs Heinen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niki Qeraxhiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The Nadzieja Speed Elblag fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FK LIQENORET were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
