In the 3rd minute, Basiel Van de Weijer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Cotes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas got free with Zacarias Cotes in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacarias Cotes was a little too slow when Basiel Van de Weijer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 2-0. Basiel Van de Weijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Esquirla FC booed when Zebolla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Barriobero didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Fulgencio Comas put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dimitri Huijbreghts. After 18 minutes, Fulgencio Comas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zebolla FC and the Esquirla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Zebolla FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Comas. After a rather tough play, Esquirla FC's Jerome Helssen got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Richy Van Mellaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquirla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richy Van Mellaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Zacarias Cotes made a huge save. Zacarias Barriobero charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Barriobero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Esquirla FC booed when Zebolla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Barriobero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Zacarias Cotes made a huge save. Zebolla FC's Zacarias Cotes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Zebolla FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richy Van Mellaert in the 45th minute of play forced Zebolla FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Cotes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Cotes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Zebolla FC's Eli Miramontes was substituted for Viviano Presilla. Zacarias Cotes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richy Van Mellaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Zebolla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richy Van Mellaert came free, but Zacarias Cotes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Savier Orue came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Zebolla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savier Orue couldn't finish the play. Dimitri Huijbreghts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Savier Orue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 64th minute of play forced Zebolla FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Cotes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zebolla FC made a substitution. Ordono Siles replaced Arnoldo Partearroyo. With a little luck, Esquirla FC's Dimitri Huijbreghts got control of the ball when Timo Trigueros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dimitri Huijbreghts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Trigueros, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Zacarias Cotes came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Esquirla FC's Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas. But to his dismay, Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Zacarias Cotes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richy Van Mellaert in the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Esquirla FC's Dimitri Huijbreghts got control of the ball when Timo Trigueros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zacarias Cotes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richy Van Mellaert in the 88th minute of play. Zacarias Cotes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Cotes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Ordono Siles's late challenge caught a Esquirla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ordono Siles helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Esquirla FC booed when Zebolla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ordono Siles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 99 played minutes, Esquirla FC's Vic de Reyck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zacarias Cotes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esquirla FC reached it. There was no doubt that Esquirla FC were the better team. Esquirla FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
