Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafin Calixto made a kick off. Armando Urki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Oelemans to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Teofilio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee gave Lenny Massenhove a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Fauna Utd's Karel-Jan Coryn got a free kick in the 85th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Calixto came free, but Jan De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
