Arsenio Aballe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Inocencio Luar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Esmeralda AFC's Bernabe Artizar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After some careless play in the Stone City defense, Ceferino Restu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Aballe. The Stone City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsenio Aballe should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Ceferino Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute of the match Melquiades Lamberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsenio Aballe skillfully saved the ball. Esmeralda AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
