Jan De Geyter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gualter Jacinto went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho da Mata in the 12th managed to get into a good position. Jan De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Gualter Jacinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jan De Geyter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Fauna Utd's Gerard Helssen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Barbosa. That made the score 2-2 after 29 minutes of play. 35 minutes into the game, Gerard Helssen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abel Barbosa. Gerard Helssen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Cederik Van de Velde struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Abel Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fauna Utd. After 41 played minutes PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Jacinto. Gerard Helssen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abel Barbosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerard Helssen slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualter Jacinto to make the kick off. Gerard Helssen took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Barbosa. Abel Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. After a defensive mix-up in Fauna Utd's zone, Gualter Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan De Geyter came out of the goal and Gualter Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho da Mata in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan De Geyter saved Fauna Utd from getting behind. With 57 minutes on the clock, Jean Breugelmans commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 58 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Jean Breugelmans. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s attack was well implemented in the 59th minute, but when Gualter Jacinto was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Gerard Helssen took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Barbosa. Abel Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. In the 68th minute, Fábio Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Andrézinho de Azevedo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute Luiz Fábio Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Massenhove in the 77th minute of the match. The score was now 6-3. 94 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Jan De Geyter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualter Jacinto. Jan De Geyter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualter Jacinto in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fauna Utd fans cheered their team off the field, for while PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
