After a rather tough play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Claudiu Azamfirei got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Nicu Isăilă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Politehnica Timisoara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stone City the free kick. A collision led to FC Politehnica Timisoara getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Basarab Iordache hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Serafin Calixto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucrețiu Manolache. The goal made the score 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Calixto during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Serafin Calixto kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Stone City's Fernan Galo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Basarab Iordache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Aballe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Isăilă in the 33rd minute of the match. Armando Urki came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucrețiu Manolache could save by the left post. In the 40th minute, Basarab Iordache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arsenio Aballe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 45th minute, Basarab Iordache made a precise shot to the right of Arsenio Aballe. Stone City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Stone City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Politehnica Timisoara were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Serafin Calixto made the kick off in the second half. Arsenio Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Azamfirei, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Stone City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Pompiliu Pantiș scored to the left of an out of position Arsenio Aballe, making the score, 1-4. Stone City's Arsenio Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Iordache in the 65th minute of play. Lucrețiu Manolache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Calixto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Politehnica Timisoara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeronimo Teofilio was slow to take the kick. During this time Stone City's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Stone City's Jeronimo Teofilio to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucrețiu Manolache despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sergio Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Politehnica Timisoara's zone, Serafin Calixto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Manolache came out of the goal and Serafin Calixto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 minutes of play Stone City's Fernan Galo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Manole Constantinescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arsenio Aballe but with some difficulty. A collision led to Stone City getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dalmacio Duardo hit a great ball. Lucrețiu Manolache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Lucian in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Pompiliu Pantiș reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arsenio Aballe. The goal made the score 1-5. The FC Politehnica Timisoara players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
