Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Serafin Calixto started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Serafin Calixto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanausu Granados saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Torreoncito getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Andy Demanet hit a great ball. Tanausu Granados showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Calixto in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Juan Antonio Vives managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torreoncito's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Antonio Vives was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Aballe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Arsenio Aballe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Ernesto Guerola fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torreoncito's protests and gave Ernesto Guerola a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Stone City. Jeronimo Teofilio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tanausu Granados. 1-2. Arsenio Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bautista Agnese, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes, Fernan Galo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stone City and the Torreoncito players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Stone City got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Galo. Arsenio Aballe made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ondino Martin sent off a good shot on target. Baldomero Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Stone City were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Antonio Vives stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Torreoncito's Bautista Agnese in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stone City's goalie prevented a goal. Bautista Agnese scored 4-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsenio Aballe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Juan Antonio Vives had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arsenio Aballe. Stone City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Antonio Vives was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. In the 95th minute Juan Antonio Vives shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torreoncito walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
