Arturo Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Hompanera, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Godfredo Oriche hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ugutz Burualla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Arturo Sengrat made a huge save. Ubaldo Pasqual struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Grueso Obana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivermania FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Hartz in the 34th minute of play forced CANTERANOS DMS's goalkeeper Grueso Obana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes of play, CANTERANOS DMS's Teofilio Horreo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Sengrat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leo Hompanera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Hompanera to strike the kick off in the second half. Teofilio Horreo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Arturo Sengrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rivermania FC's Arturo Sengrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Hompanera in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CANTERANOS DMS's zone, Ubaldo Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grueso Obana came out of the goal and Ubaldo Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Hompanera took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Sengrat. Arturo Sengrat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1.
