They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gaston Durango managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diablos Rojos's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Durango was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Inge Nordmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philip Sjøberg kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Diablos Rojos's Su Aceituno got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Su Aceituno off the ground. Kjønstad BF's Casper Øygarden was substituted for Tore-Andre Finne. The Kjønstad BF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Diablos Rojos's performance. The match ended with a win for Diablos Rojos.
