Spectators: 7635 (Terracing: 5727, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnstein Skogsrud started the match with the kick off. Ernesto Cavalcante might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig-Inge Nordmark. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Cavalcante ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute, Simão Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A A Arizona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Simão Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Stig-Inge Nordmark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the game, Arnstein Skogsrud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kjønstad BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A A Arizona the free kick. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when Kjønstad BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnstein Skogsrud didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes, Simão Sena made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kjønstad BF's Stig-Inge Nordmark tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as A A Arizona's Simão Sena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stig-Inge Nordmark. That made the score 4-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 30th match minute, Kjønstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Sjøberg to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes in the game, Hermínio Veloso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Stig-Inge Nordmark having to interfere. The A A Arizona fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when A A Arizona's Simão Sena looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Simão Sena struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Stig-Inge Nordmark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A A Arizona. A A Arizona's Hermínio Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tarcisio Terra during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tarcisio Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ademir Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Leite in the 53rd minute. Ademir Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnstein Skogsrud, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A A Arizona's Ademir Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Leite in the 70th minute of play. After 74 minutes, Simão Sena made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kjønstad BF's Stig-Inge Nordmark tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilhelm Semb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Amaral having to interfere. Kjønstad BF's Jim Remøy suffered a concussion after 80 minutes and had to leave the field. Hermínio Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermínio Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Hermínio Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilhelm Semb received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ademir Amaral came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilhelm Semb slotted it home off the left post making it 8-1 in the 89th minute. Stig-Inge Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Veloso in the 92nd minute of the match. A A Arizona's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
