Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Angelo Nazario started the match with the kick off. Leo Hompanera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Sengrat having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Adolfo Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Sengrat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ugutz Burualla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grueso Obana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Nazario in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, CANTERANOS DMS's goalkeeper Grueso Obana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Pasqual. After 35 minutes of play, Rivermania FC's Angelo Salbatore made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grueso Obana was left in no man's land by his defense there! CANTERANOS DMS's Grueso Obana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save CANTERANOS DMS from getting a goal against them. Rivermania FC's Angelo Salbatore got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Nazario received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Grueso Obana came out and tried to block the shot, but Angelo Nazario slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Hompanera was the one to do the kick off. Ubaldo Pasqual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Ubaldo Pasqual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavio Mattin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Angelo Salbatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Grueso Obana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Salbatore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grueso Obana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Angelo Salbatore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grueso Obana. CANTERANOS DMS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Salbatore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 82 minutes into the match, CANTERANOS DMS's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Nazario came free, but Grueso Obana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Salbatore struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Grueso Obana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivermania FC. After a rather tough play, CANTERANOS DMS's Marco Lombas got a free kick in the 88th minute. Rivermania FC's Arturo Sengrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Hompanera in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Angelo Nazario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grueso Obana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Rivermania FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
