After 46 minutes of play, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Gustavo Orixe made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rickard Wennerström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Sebastian Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Isaias Benvido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oakcroft Thrashers the free kick. After 78 minutes of play Oakcroft Thrashers's Timmy Åman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 78 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Åman. Rickard Wennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Benvido in the 87th minute of play. Clemente Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Tidén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Oakcroft Thrashers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
