In the 11th minute, Gualter de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Luis Raphael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egídio Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarcisio Baptista in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Delfino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentin Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Soeiro in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Júnior Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Quemeros's Luis Raphael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egídio Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ronaldinho de Castro fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leões do Sul 53's protests and gave Ronaldinho de Castro a yellow card for diving instead. Luis Raphael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Reis having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 34th minute when Tarcisio Baptista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Valentin Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarcisio Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quemeros's goalkeeper Valentin Delfino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valentin Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Baptista in the 44th minute of the match. Leões do Sul 53's Gualter de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Valentin Delfino was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Bernardo Soeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernardo Soeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Bernardo Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Tarcisio Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Bernardo Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leões do Sul 53's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tarcisio Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Valentin Delfino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Delfino made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Gualter de Salles sent off a good shot on target. Quemeros's Valentin Delfino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Quemeros from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Quemeros's zone, Gualter de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Delfino came out of the goal and Gualter de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Soeiro in the 71st minute of play. Tarcisio Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Sena during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Alberto Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes of play, Leões do Sul 53's Bernardo Soeiro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Delfino was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Quemeros's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter de Salles came free, but Valentin Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarcisio Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Valentin Delfino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gualter de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Etor kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
