After 13 played minutes Leões do Sul 53 got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Arósio. Luka Saje succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 16th playminute. 23 minutes into the match, Timi Osojnik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egídio Reis. Leões do Sul 53's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timi Osojnik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 26 played minutes Leões do Sul 53 got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio Baptista. In the 32nd match minute, Leões do Sul 53 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the game, Bernardo Soeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leões do Sul 53's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Koper the free kick. The supporters of FC Koper booed when Leões do Sul 53 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mané Corrêa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Robert Jurčić kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Tarcisio Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bine Šercelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Forti Draksler's late challenge caught a Leões do Sul 53's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Forti Draksler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute of the match Dedé Almeida sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bine Šercelj skillfully saved the ball. Tarcisio Baptista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Bine Šercelj when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Timi Osojnik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egídio Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After 66 minutes, Tarcisio Baptista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leões do Sul 53 and the FC Koper players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Leões do Sul 53 got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio Baptista. After a defensive mix-up in FC Koper's zone, Tarcisio Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bine Šercelj came out of the goal and Tarcisio Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mato Podlogar hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Claudinho Arósio was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 80th match minute, Leões do Sul 53 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Luka Saje recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egídio Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timi Osojnik in the 86th minute of the match. Egídio Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Saje, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Koper had played much better football throughout.
