Augusto Handi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Thiago Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Handi. AL TOKE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 33 minutes into the match, AL TOKE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Tasso came free, but Augusto Handi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Agostinho Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celestino Ellande during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Celestino Ellande hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match Simão Custódio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Handi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gustavo Jenaro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Tasso in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Handi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Célio Cardoso to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Sipo EC's Augusto Handi threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Célio Cardoso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Célio Cardoso got free with Augusto Handi in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 minutes of play Sipo EC's Caio de Almeida was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 69th minute, Caio de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Gustavo Jenaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, AL TOKE FC's goalkeeper Augusto Handi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wágner do Valle. Higinio Txordon's late challenge caught a Sipo EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Txordon helped the player get up and apologised.
