Spectators: 7542 (Terracing: 5658, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tião Castro kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sipo EC's Célio Cardoso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugo do Valle. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. After 21 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Caio de Almeida. Antônio Tasso, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 29th minute, Douglas de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sipo EC booed when COURO COME FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valério Dionísio's late challenge caught a Sipo EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valério Dionísio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sipo EC booed when COURO COME FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th match minute, COURO COME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Coelho to maneuver through the defense. When Marquinhos Pitta fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sipo EC's protests and gave Marquinhos Pitta a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of COURO COME FC booed when Sipo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Célio Cardoso hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ernani de Salles hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Agostinho Tassos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Hugo do Valle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Célio Cardoso to strike the kick off in the second half. If Erik Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 minutes of play, Sipo EC's Agostinho Tasso made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Agostinho Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agostinho Tasso took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo do Valle. Hugo do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Tasso in the 76th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Hugo do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Valério Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 82 minutes, Célio Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sipo EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Célio Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute Agostinho Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Tasso in the 87th minute of play. A hard shot 89 in the game by Tião Castro from a close distance when the talented Tostão Maranhense managed to make a qualified save. Sipo EC's players were relieved. Tostão Maranhense stood somewhat misplaced when Tião Castro came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 89 minute. Hugo do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo do Valle came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Sipo EC's Agostinho Tasso. But to his dismay, Agostinho Tasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Sipo EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
