Dalmacio Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Barbie Doll United U23's Doni Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Mederi in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Geovânio da Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barbie Doll United U23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vamos Los Pibes!!!! the free kick. The supporters of Vamos Los Pibes!!!! booed when Barbie Doll United U23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Elpidio Raitin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Doni Pires but with some difficulty. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelio Sal made a kick off.
