The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baldomiro Lohitzun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the game, Wawrzyniec Borkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pogoń Staszów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tetra Pack FC the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Pogoń Staszów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Borkowski to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pogoń Staszów's Zachary Majorski got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Baldomiro Lohitzun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobiasz Debkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tetra Pack FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Waldemar Siwek 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Pogoń Staszów's Tobiasz Debkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Osoro in the 21st minute of play. Adan Dolfos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Majorski in the 22nd minute of the match. Pogoń Staszów were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Tetra Pack FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aleksander Gniech took the corner. The corner led Pogoń Staszów's Aleksander Gniech to fire away a dangerous shot which Adan Dolfos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th minute, Emilio Osoro made a precise shot to the right of Tobiasz Debkowski. Pogoń Staszów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Wawrzyniec Borkowski got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 30th minute, Wawrzyniec Borkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Silverio Chucho came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tetra Pack FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Chucho couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Lohitzun in the 39th minute of play forced Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Tobiasz Debkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobiasz Debkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Osoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anacleto Merexildo to strike the kick off in the second half. Tobiasz Debkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Merexildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Tomasz Gotfryd's late challenge caught a Tetra Pack FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomasz Gotfryd helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Pogoń Staszów got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Gotfryd. Tobiasz Debkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 66 played minutes Pogoń Staszów got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Siwek. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Osoro got free with Tobiasz Debkowski in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Radoslaw Dobrzechowski's late challenge caught a Tetra Pack FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radoslaw Dobrzechowski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pogoń Staszów getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Radoslaw Dobrzechowski hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match, Braulio Mateus got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tobiasz Debkowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tobiasz Debkowski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jonas Duardo. Pogoń Staszów's Tobiasz Debkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Mateus in the 80th minute of play. Tetra Pack FC's Adan Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Siwek in the 82nd minute of play. A hard shot 84 in the game by Braulio Mateus from a close distance when the talented Tobiasz Debkowski managed to make a qualified save. Pogoń Staszów's players were relieved. 85 minutes into the match, Tetra Pack FC's Emilio Osoro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobiasz Debkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomasz Gotfryd was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jonas Duardo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Pogoń Staszów players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
