After 5 played minutes Tadeu de Amorim rounded Pogoń Staszów's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After having played for 8 minutes, Carlos Alberto Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XV de Piracicaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Alberto Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pogoń Staszów's Tobiasz Debkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Brodel in the 10th minute of play. Tobiasz Debkowski made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gualter Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Tobiasz Debkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Augusto de Amaral. Gerson Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Tobiasz Debkowski was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and João Augusto de Amaral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Augusto de Amaral really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Tadeu de Amorims short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Tobiasz Debkowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Tobiasz Debkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeu de Amorim. 28 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Maranhense came free, but Tobiasz Debkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobiasz Debkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Maranhense in the 29th minute of play. Tobiasz Debkowski made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Tadeu de Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Tadeu de Amorim took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobiasz Debkowski. Tobiasz Debkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With an all-out effort, XV de Piracicaba's Tobiasz Debkowski threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gualter Maranhense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th minute of the match, Tadeu de Amorim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tobiasz Debkowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pogoń Staszów's Tobiasz Debkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Coelho in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Waldemar Siwek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Tadeu de Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Tobiasz Debkowski. Pogoń Staszów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Cafu Ferreira took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobiasz Debkowski. Tobiasz Debkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Pogoń Staszów's Tobiasz Debkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu de Amorim in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of XV de Piracicaba booed when Pogoń Staszów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Borkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that João Augusto de Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobiasz Debkowski was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 63rd minute Gualter Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobiasz Debkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobiasz Debkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, João Augusto de Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobiasz Debkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Tobiasz Debkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeu de Amorim went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Tobiasz Debkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto de Amaral in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Enéas Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobiasz Debkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Gualter Maranhense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobiasz Debkowski. Pogoń Staszów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualter Maranhense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Tobiasz Debkowski came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by XV de Piracicaba's Gerson Jacinto. But to his dismay, Gerson Jacinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Gualter Maranhense scored 13-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobiasz Debkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. XV de Piracicaba fully deserved thier win.
