Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eulalio Diagur kicked off to start the match. Zé de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Isaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toninho Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Llope in the 11th minute of play forced Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Zé de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Llope scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eulalio Diagur took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé de Senna. Zé de Senna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Dário da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Matungo Gaúcho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dário da Cunha couldn't finish the play. If Dário da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd match minute, Matungo Gaúcho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís da Mata to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Pedro Luís da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Liberland's Marcos Llope got a free kick in the 27th minute. Zé de Senna came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Liberland's Marcos Llope. But to his dismay, Marcos Llope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Toninho Vale struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Donato Tiso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matungo Gaúcho. In the 42nd minute Marcos Llope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Liberland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Llope to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Liberland were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Matungo Gaúcho's Dário da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Llope got free with Zé de Senna in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 played minutes Liberland got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Micael. 57 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's Dário da Cunha broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 59 minutes of play, Matungo Gaúcho's Toninho Vale made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Tiso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matungo Gaúcho's Dário da Cunha suffered a concussion after 66 minutes and had to leave the field. When Pastor Micael fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liberland's protests and gave Pastor Micael a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Liberland's Pastor Micael got a free kick in the 67th minute. Donato Tiso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Velloso in the 68th minute of the match. Marcos Llope kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Fernan Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liberland's Donato Tiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Vale in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Liberland's Bruno Isaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 81 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Diagur came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes, Abelardo de Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matungo Gaúcho and the Liberland players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Matungo Gaúcho got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo de Lara. After 84 played minutes Liberland got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Llope. When Matungo Gaúcho's Toninho Vale in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liberland's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Breno Velloso during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Breno Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Diagur, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Zé de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Egoitz in the 93rd minute. Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Matungo Gaúcho from getting a goal against them. Matungo Gaúcho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Eulalio Diagur scored to the left of an out of position Zé de Senna, making the score, 1-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Liberland had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
