With a couple of smart ball manuevers Théophile Cassin in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerzy Duszenski saved FA Sandtown from getting behind. Roland Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Théophile Cassins short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Jerzy Duszenski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Moïse Kerbrat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Kapinos in the 29th minute of play. Moïse Kerbrat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Napoleon Kapinos's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 37th play minute Théophile Cassin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jerzy Duszenski. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Napoleon Kapinos to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Napoleon Kapinos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FA Sandtown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valette Stars the free kick. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Napoleon Kapinos got a free kick in the 51st minute. Jerzy Duszenski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Théophile Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. FA Sandtown's Jerzy Duszenski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raoul Caudal in the 61st minute of play. When Valette Stars's Théophile Cassin in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Valette Stars's protests and gave Redouane Eschbach a yellow card for diving instead. Théophile Cassin took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerzy Duszenski. Jerzy Duszenski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
