The tension between the The Nerd Herd and the FC Ruscova players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes The Nerd Herd got a freekick which was hit by Sigurd Dvergsdal. In the 17th minute, Magne Georgsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnstein Øvereng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Hâjdău in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, The Nerd Herd's Vebjørn Dyb got a free kick in the 44th minute. Vebjørn Dyb struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Marian Novăceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Nerd Herd. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolf Grinde to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Grinde in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Novăceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Valentin Gâțea in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Nerd Herd's Theodor Tobiassen. The Nerd Herd's Sigurd Dvergsdal got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Sigurd Dvergsdal off the ground. 93 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Izvoranu came free, but Arnstein Øvereng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Ruscova were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing The Nerd Herd to leave the ground with a draw.
