The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ola Nysted charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ola Nysted the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, The Nerd Herd's Ola Nysted got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 8 minutes into the game, Liberland's Marcos Llope nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnstein Øvereng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Nerd Herd's Arnstein Øvereng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Seguinus in the 11th minute of play. Christian Hinna lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of The Nerd Herd:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Liberland:s goal. The referee gave Liberland a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eulalio Diagur, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of The Nerd Herd's Arnstein Øvereng. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Nysted got free with Pastor Eriz in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When The Nerd Herd's Dagfinn Ringvold in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liberland's goalie prevented a goal. The Nerd Herd's Magne Georgsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pastor Micael, made in the 21st minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Pastor Micael in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Nerd Herd's Magne Georgsen. 33 minutes into the match, Marcos Llope had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnstein Øvereng. The Nerd Herd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Llope was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of Liberland booed when The Nerd Herd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ask Myren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sigurd Dvergsdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Liberland were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Seguinus to strike the kick off in the second half. Dagfinn Ringvold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Eriz having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Pastor Micael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liberland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Nerd Herd the free kick. Pastor Micael hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Sigurd Dvergsdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Pastor Eriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Eriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagfinn Ringvold in the 58th minute of the match. Dagfinn Ringvold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Eriz having to interfere. Pastor Eriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagfinn Ringvold, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Vebjørn Dyb charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vebjørn Dyb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, The Nerd Herd's Vebjørn Dyb got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Dagfinn Ringvold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liberland's Pastor Eriz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Llope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Seguinus came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnstein Øvereng could save by the left post. Pastor Eriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagfinn Ringvold, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Liberland's Eulalio Diagur got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arnstein Øvereng. The crowd rose to their feet as Eulalio Diagur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnstein Øvereng. That made the score 0-5 in the 95 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Liberland walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
