Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Liberland's Roman Seguinus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, German Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Liberland booed when FC Ruscova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Gâțea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Eriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Oneț, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Marian Rada managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ruscova's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Rada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Eriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergiu Oneț struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Pastor Eriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ruscova. Marian Novăceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Diagur in the 13th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Liberland got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Nel. A collision led to Liberland getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eulalio Diagur hit a great ball. Marian Novăceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Llope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Eusebiu Enciulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 20 minutes on the clock, Maxim Hâjdău commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 20th minute, one of FC Ruscova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Ruscova. Marian Novăceanu had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Eulalio Diagur's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 21st minute, Eulalio Diagur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Novăceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Valentin Gâțea struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Pastor Eriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Liberland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Rada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 35th match minute, Liberland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Seguinus to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Seguinus got free with Marian Novăceanu in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Liberland getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mateo Nel hit a great ball. When Marian Rada came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Ruscova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marian Rada couldn't finish the play. Mihnea Puric blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pastor Eriz having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, Liberland's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Puric came free, but Pastor Eriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Rada made a kick off. After 70 minutes, Sebastian Egoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liberland and the FC Ruscova players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Ruscova booed when Liberland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes FC Ruscova got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Puric. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Valentin Gâțea took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Pastor Eriz to make any attempt to save it. Roman Seguinus scored 2-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Novăceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
