After 10 played minutes Ñacuñán AC got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Iruinea. Danone CC's Wágner Brodel got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ñacuñán AC booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luiz da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Pedro Luiz da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Iruinea in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Iruinea in the 26th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz da Cunha having to interfere. Pedro Luiz da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Guillelmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Ñacuñán AC's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Barros came free, but Bernabe Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ignacio Guillelmo made the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Guillelmo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Luiz da Cunha having to make a save. Angelo do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Constantino Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match Ñacuñán AC got a corner. Danone CC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
