Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Leonel Tomi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. German Ourente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Vesterberg in the 3rd minute of play. Klas Åberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristo Llin went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. FC NILS's Klas Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Balesio in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Leif Ahlkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of German Ourente. Rafaela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leif Ahlkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 17 played minutes Rafaela FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Txurio. Klas Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Tomi in the 22nd minute of play. Klas Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Tomi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Daniel Vesterberg took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised German Ourente. German Ourente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Rafaela FC's Leonel Tomi got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Tomi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Klas Åberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonel Tomi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Henrik Gallin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC NILS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rafaela FC the free kick. In the 44th minute of the match, Leonel Tomi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Klas Åberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leif Ahlkvist to make the kick off. Klas Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Tomi in the 59th minute of the match. Anton Bruhn hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ovidio Txurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Klas Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Raphael to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Thomas Näver shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but German Ourente showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Leif Ahlkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Rafaela FC booed when FC NILS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Gallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klas Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Txurio in the 82nd minute of play. FC NILS's Anton Bruhn got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Anton Bruhn off the ground. A collision led to FC NILS getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Anton Bruhn hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, FC NILS's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Txurio came free, but Klas Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Rafaela FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
