The supporters of Leon Platense booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Mano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paunero's Uriel Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Beltza in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Raymon during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Leon Platense getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Santiago Raymon hit a great ball. Leon Platense's Cecilio Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Sugoi in the 27th minute of play. Uriel Bingen came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Leon Platense's Saul Beltza. But to his dismay, Saul Beltza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Quin during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Leon Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Quin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Jonatan Chan got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Umbruso in the 45th minute of play forced Paunero's goalkeeper Uriel Bingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Beltza was the one to do the kick off. Jonatan Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Marco Umbruso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saul Beltza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Uriel Bingen made a huge save. Uriel Bingen came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Leon Platense's Saul Beltza. But to his dismay, Saul Beltza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 58 minutes of play, Leon Platense's Siro Damario made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uriel Bingen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute Mauro Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Garci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Fabio Fagildo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cecilio Garci quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Uriel Bingen made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Saul Beltza sent off a good shot on target. Saul Beltza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Bingen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Mauro Cordarrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paunero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Platense the free kick. Mauro Cordarrell hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Cecilio Garci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Aureliano Mano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute Mauro Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Garci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejandro Ralondo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Paunero's Fabio Fagildo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Garci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Saul Beltza got a free kick in the 89th minute. Marco Umbruso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Leon Platense supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leon Platense would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
