That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. After 12 minutes, Pavol Repa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC DNV Bratiskava and the Radomiak Radom players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Radomiak Radom booed when FC DNV Bratiskava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavol Repa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Marek Paulovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Radomiak Radom's Kajetan Zaworski got a free kick in the 17th minute. A hard shot by Erik Lazár from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Maciej Szczęsny's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 22nd minute Emil Rzeszutek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Forman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC DNV Bratiskava's Ladislav Zilka got a free kick in the 24th minute. Maciej Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Ábel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Radomiak Radom played a much better game than FC DNV Bratiskava and deserved their victory. The FC DNV Bratiskava players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
