Spectators: 7409 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 65) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rickard Håning got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matúš Lipták in the 3rd minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Osvald Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislav Zilka in the 6th minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Osvald Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Skates's Douglas Stenkvist got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 13th minute Ladislav Zilka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Håning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the The Skates defense, Marek Kríž kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvald Albom. The The Skates fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvald Albom should have stopped the shot. Osvald Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matúš Lipták in the 26th minute of play. Alvin Billberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Miroslav Forman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Matúš Lipták fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC DNV Bratiskava's protests and gave Matúš Lipták a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Matúš Lipták hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miroslav Forman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Fågel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Marek Kríž. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matúš Lipták in the 39th minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Osvald Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslav Forman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Håning, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, FC DNV Bratiskava's Ivan Jakubiak seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ivan Jakubiak the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC DNV Bratiskava protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ivan Jakubiak had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Ábel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Alvin Billberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC DNV Bratiskava's Erik Lazár shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Osvald Albom but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Håning in the 58th minute of play forced FC DNV Bratiskava's goalkeeper Miroslav Forman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matúš Lipták hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Erik Ábel. 73 minutes into the match, Matúš Lipták notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of The Skates's Osvald Albom. Osvald Albom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvin Billberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miroslav Forman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Håning, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Rickard Håning kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Matúš Lipták sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rickard Håning in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslav Forman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miroslav Forman came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by The Skates's Rickard Håning. But to his dismay, Rickard Håning quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
