Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) In the 9thth minute of the game Ciccio Ruggieri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TaTeRo Boys's Frank Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Hell in the 10th minute of play forced TaTeRo Boys's goalkeeper Frank Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Ernesto Hell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, TaTeRo Boys's Júlio Eger got a free kick in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Ciccio Ruggieri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Simões. TaTeRo Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciccio Ruggieri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 30th minute Carmine Ramoser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Ercole Di Febo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Kroton F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Granato to maneuver through the defense. Frank Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Ramoser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aírton Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Carlos Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Zé Carlos Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Ruggieri in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Camillo Tellini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TaTeRo Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kroton F.C. the free kick. After 63 played minutes TaTeRo Boys got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Amaral. Frank Simões came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Kroton F.C.'s Ciccio Ruggieri. But to his dismay, Ciccio Ruggieri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Zé Carlos Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Armando Grande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TaTeRo Boys. Armando Grande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Amaral in the 76th minute of play. Frank Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Martini in the 78th minute of play. Frank Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Ruggieri in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, TaTeRo Boys's Zé Carlos Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Grande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dida Baiano hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Aírton Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Armando Grande came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by TaTeRo Boys's Júlio Eger. But to his dismay, Júlio Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The TaTeRo Boys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kroton F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
