Cauan Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 18th minute Wiley Redd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Tarcisio Leme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas McKinnon. C.'s Cauan Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Leal in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Werner Patton made the kick off in the second half. After 78 minutes of play, Cascade Park West's Werner Patton made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauan Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Werner Patton charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Werner Patton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Patton to maneuver through the defense. Lucas McKinnon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Ramos in the 87th minute of the match. The Cascade Park West supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cascade Park West would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
