C. booed when TaTeRo Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Sandro Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caxinha F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes, Zé Carlos Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TaTeRo Boys and the Caxinha F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zé Carlos Mendonça hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes TaTeRo Boys got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Rodrigues. Henrique Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Oscar Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 44th play minutes Zé Carlos Mendonça shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Cauan Queirós and just under the crossbar into goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Oscar Ramos made the kick off in the second half. Cauan Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Zé Carlos Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes, Caxinha F. C.'s Eugênio de Medeiros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frank Simões came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caxinha F. C. reached it. After having played for 60 minutes, Oscar Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caxinha F. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Ramos in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Caxinha F. C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
