Ciccio Ruggieri started the match with the kick off. Ciccio Ruggieri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Yan Pirani made a huge save. Armando Grande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dé Guedes went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 20th match minute, RÖK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Brito to maneuver through the defense. Dave Lemma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Yan Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, RÖK's goalkeeper Yan Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciccio Ruggieri. The supporters of Kroton F.C. booed when RÖK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. RÖK's Yan Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Martini in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Martini in the 36th minute of play forced RÖK's goalkeeper Yan Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmine Ramoser hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Edson Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, RÖK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Brito to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elivélton Cruz got free with Armando Grande in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute of the match Ciccio Ruggieri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yan Pirani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yan Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Hell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kroton F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ciccio Ruggieri hit a great ball. Demetrio Martini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Pirani having to interfere. Edson Brito got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, RÖK's Edson Brito got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Camillo Tellini charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camillo Tellini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kroton F.C.! In the 91st minute, Alexander Granato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Grande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elivélton Cruz in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. RÖK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
