The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armando Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Mendonça in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Ernesto Hell rounded TaTeRo Boys's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Nelsinho Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Martini, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Ernesto Hell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Nelsinho Rodrigues made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, TaTeRo Boys's goalkeeper Nelsinho Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Lemma. A collision led to TaTeRo Boys getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cauan Nogueira hit a great ball. The supporters of Kroton F.C. booed when TaTeRo Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Acácio de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute TaTeRo Boys were awarded a corner. Zé Carlos Mendonça went to the cornerflag to take it. TaTeRo Boys's Nelsinho Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save TaTeRo Boys from getting a goal against them. Nelsinho Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Hell, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Zé Carlos Mendonça hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

TaTeRo Boys's Nelsinho Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Ruggieri in the 51st minute of play. Nelsinho Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Lemma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Talone's late challenge caught a TaTeRo Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Talone helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kroton F.C.'s Bernardo Talone got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Lemma in the 65th minute of play forced TaTeRo Boys's goalkeeper Nelsinho Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, TaTeRo Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Lemma in the 70th minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, Kroton F.C.'s Dave Lemma made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelsinho Rodrigues was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 83 in the game by Luiz Guilherme Amaral from a close distance when the talented Armando Grande managed to make a qualified save. Kroton F.C.'s players were relieved. Zé Carlos Mendonça hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. TaTeRo Boys's Nelsinho Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Martini in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Kroton F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
